Course Description
This course will review the legal and ethical importance of truthful and accurate advertising. The course will highlight some of the more important legislative changes related to advertising and accountability since the mortgage industry œmeltdown. Specific provisions addressed include those under the Truth-in-Lending Act (Regulation Z) and the MAP Rule (Regulation N). The course will also review some examples based on real advertising that has been distributed throughout the consumer marketplace.
