Course Description
Dodd-Frank Section 1071 requires the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) to issue final rules requiring small business lenders to collect data on lending to women and minority-owned small businesses and report this data to the CFPB annually. A final regulation is expected to be issued by the CFPB in Spring 2023. This course explains who and what are covered, what is considered a covered transaction, and data points to be collected and reported.
