Course Description

The Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (E-Sign Act) is a federal law enacted to address the validity of documents, records, and signatures that are in electronic form. The E-Sign Act applies to interstate and foreign commerce, and allows for the use of electronic records to satisfy any law, regulation, or rule that requires information to be provided in writing, as long as the consumer affirmatively consents to electronic delivery. This course will explore the E-Sign Act and its provisions.
