Course Description

Title III of the USA PATRIOT Act impacts mortgage lending transactions, requiring verification of customer identities and reporting of suspicious financial activities. The Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) has primary responsibility for investigating, identifying, and reporting information on money laundering and other financial crimes. This course will briefly review the USA PATRIOT Act and how it's requirements apply to mortgage professionals.
