1 Hour CA-DFPI SAFE: California Mortgage Lending Compliance Updates (Online)

This course will take a look at the laws and regulations governing mortgage loan originators, lenders, and brokers doing business in California. In Module 1, students will review standards of conduct, including license maintenance, recordkeeping and reporting, and limitations on fees and charges, as well as provisions of the California Consumer Privacy Act. In Module 2, students will review prohibited conduct for licensees, as well as disciplinary action that may be taken when violations of the law occur, plus the recently reinstated Homeowner Bill of Rights.
