Topics include mortgage fraud in its many forms‚ including federal prohibitions and the Utah Mortgage Fraud Act. The Utah High Cost Home Loan Act and the Utah Reverse Mortgage Act are also reviewed‚ giving learners a clear understanding of the protections these laws provide to consumers. Finally‚ the course reviews fair lending requirements under the Utah Fair Housing Act‚ the federal Fair Housing Act‚ and the Equal Credit Opportunity Act‚ covering prohibited discriminatory practices‚ protected classes‚ and disciplinary consequences.
