To log into your company’s partner code, navigate to https://www.oncourselearning.com/mortgage/and then click on “Partner Code” at the top right-hand side of the page. You can now log into your account by clicking “LOG IN” in the top right-hand corner of the page.

  • What can I expect from a 20 Hour SAFE course?

The 20 Hour SAFE is an online course that you will have to do the reading, assignment, quizzes and final exams. There is an instructor in the course that will follow along with the session should you need help as they are there to assist. The instructor also grades all assignment and unlocks the final exam for the completion of the course.

The course starts at 1:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. You have access to this course for 24 hours, up until the last day.

Once the date and start time for the session that you have signed up for has passed, you are able to login into the course at any time. You have either 7 or 14 days to complete the course material and the final exam to get credit for the course depending on which timeframe you selected. Your progress will be saved exactly where you exit out of the course.

This is not quite a self-paced course:

    • Each module unlocks at a certain date and time. Please refer to your Orientation (about 70% the way through) for these times and dates. This means that no matter how far you get in your first module, you will not be able to move onto your second module until 1PM EST on the given date in your Orientation.
    • Each module has an overall timer which is the minimum amount of active time required to be in that module. You will not be able to move forward to the next module until this time has elapsed.
    • There is a deadline for all assignments in this course. That deadline is on the last day at 6:30PM EST. If this deadline is not met, you will need to start the course over.
    • The final deadline is at 11PM EST. If the final is not passed by this time, you will need to start the course over again.
    • There is no set time to log into the course; you just can’t access the course before the course is unlocked.
  • In-Course Questions

  • What is BioSig?

BioSig is an authentication software to verify student identity by drawing a four-character code with your mouse. All course providers are mandated by the NMLS to implement this software in all online self-paced courses in 2016. The software is from a third-party vendor; OnCourse Learning must follow the rules of the third-party vendor when it comes to how the authentication is presented in our courses. OnCourse Learning is not able to offer support with BioSig password resets, but there are plenty of articles and videos to help you go through BioSig on the NMLS Student Authentication page.

Please make sure your first name, last name, and NMLS number are correct in your OnCourse Learning profile. We also recommend you write down your BioSig password after you create it as you will need to draw this password each time you log into your course.

  • How do I reset my BioSig password?

If you fail your BioSig password attempts three times in a row, a box will pop up for you to enter an Authentication Code. This Authentication code will be sent to your email address within five minutes. Please check to verify the authentication code is being sent to the correct email address. Make sure to also check your spam and junk folders for this email. If your first name, last name, and NMLS number have not changed since the last time you logged into course, the email should go to the email you have on file with OnCourse Learning. For additional information, we recommended viewing this instructional video on resetting your password.

  • My course is stuck saying "Loading Please Wait." How can I proceed?

This error can happen for two reasons:

    1. You have an adblocker such as uBlock or AdBlockPlus installed. You will need to either whitelist ocltraining.com or turn off the adblocking app in order to access the course.

    2. The bookmark was corrupted due to going inactive. This can be fixed by clicking "Cancel" when it asks if you would like to continue where you last left off. This will reset the bookmark to the beginning of the module. You can then navigate back to where you were previously by clicking "Menu" and then the last section you were on.

  • When does my continuing education (CE) expire?

NMLS requirements specify that in order to maintain licensure, the deadline to complete CE coursework is December 31st of each year, regardless of the date of course purchase. If the December 31 deadline is missed, students will be required to take Late CE to meet and maintain licensing requirements.

  • Why do course modules contain timers?

Making sure a student remains engaged with the content for the duration of any pre-licensing or continuing education course is a requirement of the SAFE Act. As such, NMLS requires that timers be integrated to ensure that student engagement takes place.
