Late CE: 1 Hour NC SAFE: North Carolina Mortgage Lending Compliance Updates (14360)

This course will take a look at the laws and regulations governing mortgage loan originators, lenders, and brokers doing business in North Carolina. In Module 1, students will review standards of conduct, including license maintenance, compliance, and more. In Module 2, students will review prohibited conduct for licensees, as well as unique areas of state law that address duty of care, mortgage fraud, and disciplinary actions that may be taken when violations of the law occur. The content for this course is the same as course ID 14360 and is intended to satisfy CE requirements for 2023 or the last year a mortgage loan originator held an active license. Mortgage loan originators cannot take this course again for credit in 2024.
