About this Course
Appraisals are one of the most important steps in the mortgage loan process, but they can be complex, confusing, and sometimes frustrating for the parties involved in a transaction. By learning about the finer points of the appraisal process, mortgage professionals can equip themselves to better understand why valuations come back a certain way, and they can help their clients understand the results, too. This course will review basic concepts around appraisals, as well as the Uniform Residential Appraisal Report (the form most commonly used to report appraisal results), program-specific requirements, prohibited conduct, and more.
