Late Continuing Education Online Self-Paced

Late CE: 2 Hour SAFE Elective: Exploring Title Issues and Insurance (12171) (Online)

About this Course

Transactions for home loans begin when a consumer submits a mortgage loan application. With very few exceptions, the application form that lenders offer to loan applicants is the Uniform Residential Loan Application (URLA). Effective in 2020, a new version of the URLA replaces the form that was previously in use for more than 20 years. This course is designed to provide an overview of the new URLA, including the ethical implications and prohibitions identified by ECOA and Reg B. This course satisfies two hours of elective education for loan originators. The content for this course is the same as course ID 12171 and is intended to satisfy CE requirements for 2021 or the last year a mortgage loan originator held an active license. Mortgage loan originators cannot take this course again for credit in 2022.
