2 Hour SAFE Elective: The New URLA (Online)

About this Course

Transactions for home loans begin when a consumer submits a mortgage loan application. With very few exceptions, the application form that lenders offer to loan applicants is the Uniform Residential Loan Application (URLA). Effective in 2020, a new version of the URLA replaces the form that was previously in use for more than 20 years. This course is designed to provide an overview of the new URLA, including the ethical implications and prohibitions identified by ECOA and Reg B. This course satisfies two hours of elective education for loan originators.
