How nonbank financial service providers can create a culture of compliance

BROOKFIELD, Wis. — Nonbank financial service providers will learn how to create a culture of compliance using their existing compliance management system during a presentation at the FiSCA 28th Annual Conference & Exposition from Oct. 20-23 in National Harbor, Md.

OnCourse Learning’s Debbi Roberts, business development manager, financial services, will present “How to Leverage Key Training Tools for a Sound CMS,” at 1:45 p.m. EDT Oct. 21 in room Baltimore 5 of the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center.

“The value of this workshop is its focus on using tools already at the training operators’ disposal,” Roberts said. “The pointers provided will empower attendees to build a strong regulatory compliance culture within their individual companies.”

“With her vast experience in the nonbank financial services sector, I’m confident attendees will walk away with essential knowledge that will enable them to get the most out of their CMS once they’re back at the office,” said Edward D’Alessio, FiSCA executive director.

Highlights of the presentation include:

  • Tips on using the advanced features of a company’s learning management system to enhance documentation of meetings, policies and procedures, competency, training and reporting.
  • The benefits of using a blended approach to training to ensure regulators that multiple sources of training and information are being employed to create a culture of compliance.
  • How to enhance compliance efforts through use of the OnCourse Learning training system dashboard reporting and course customization.
