There are additional education credits required for those who wish to advance from a pre-broker to a principal broker.
Step 1: Register for a real estate license account in eLicense, the Agency's online license management system.
Step 2: Apply for a pre-broker license through the eLicense portal. When submitting your application, you must also pay a non-refundable $300 application fee. Once your application is processed, you will receive an Applicant ID number via email.
Step 3: Complete the required 150 hours of pre-license education through an Agency approved real estate license school. Passing exam scores and clean background checks are only valid for one year. The Agency can only issue licenses while exam scores and background checks are valid.
Once you have completed all these steps, your license will be issued by the Agency. The Agency issues a license when: your background check is cleared, your principal broker uploads your pending license to the Agency online system, and your final application is reviewed and accepted by the Agency. Oregon Real Estate License State Reciprocity
