The Oregon Broker Administration and Sales Supervision (BASS) requires you to complete the 40-hour BASS courses (Part I and II). The purpose of the courses is to introduce brokers to the real world of managing and supervising operations of a real estate office.
Oregon BASS, Part I topics include real estate business operated under the title of "registered business name" only; the addition of the term "client trust account," when explaining clients' trust accounts and client security deposits; and written delegations of authority by the real estate business owner.
Oregon BASS, Part II, topics include a new "Final Agency Acknowledgement" form and new content on the topic of closing real estate transactions.
