New alliance provides regulatory compliance training for credit union members
OnCourse Learning announced today a partnership with the Credit Union League of Connecticut (League) to provide regulatory compliance online training for its members.
The League, through its membership, plays a vital role in creating an atmosphere under which all credit unions in the state can thrive, prosper and continue to serve their communities. In today’s highly regulated environment, credit union professionals must have expert knowledge of the latest federal regulation changes in order to stay compliant and better serve customers.
Partnership benefits
“The partnership enables League members to provide the most updated available credit union training for their employees,” said Brett Shively, chief executive officer for OnCourse Learning. “Having well-trained credit union employees gives credit union managers the peace of mind they need to focus on offering the timely, personalized and compliant service their customers have come to expect.”
OnCourse Learning provides over 550 online training courses designed specifically for credit unions. Regulatory compliance training courses including Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Fair Lending, and Introduction to Human Trafficking can be found in the Credit Union Course Catalog.
The Credit Union League of Connecticut was founded in 1935 and brings together all categories of credit unions that best represent the interests of Connecticut’s rapidly changing state.
“With OnCourse Learning, our credit unions will have access to additional resources that provide online courses and case studies in a wide variety of formats, including engaging videos on some of the most critical topics in the financial services industry,” said Christopher Whalen, vice president of marketing for the Credit Union League of Connecticut.
