Marketing & Advertising Part 1
Description: In this day and age of UDAP/UDAAP, it’s clear that how you say what you say in your advertisements is just as important as what you say. Style matters—you must be clear and conspicuous in your wording so as not to confuse and deceive. If you read enforcement actions related to marketing and advertising carefully, it's clear what else is being targeted: sales and marketing practices. It’s always useful to learn from others' mistakes, regardless of your bank’s size or regulator.
Marketing & Advertising Part 2
Description: What can you say in advertisements? What must you say? What can you not say? Many sets of rules govern these questions, and more are on the way. What is ZDNU?
Did you ever wonder what ZDNU stands for in front of a course name? It simply stands for Do Not Use as it is a retired course and in longer part of our course offerings or your licensed course package.
What does this mean for you
- Since the course is marked as ZDNU, the course should no longer be assigned to new training programs as the courses are no longer receiving updates.
- In addition, current training programs should be reviewed and updated accordingly to ensure students are not reviewing outdated material.
What does this mean for historical reporting?
- Great News! Reporting accuracy is very important to us; therefore, the courses will still reflect accordingly on reports/transcripts.
Are there replacement courses available?
- In many cases, yes! Contact your Account Rep or Customer Service Specialist.
