Automated information being collected
We collect and store information through a variety of automatic technologies, such as browser and flash cookies; pixels and web beacons about your use of our Site, including device identifying information such as IP addresses; MAC address or other device-specific alphanumerical ID numbers; the make and model of your device; the wireless provider associated with your device; whether you downloaded the app; the source of the download of the App (for example, whether via a particular advertisement for the App); when the App is launched; how many times a particular page within the Site is visited; which features the users interact with; and your device or computer's connection to the Internet. These things allow us, among other things, to improve the delivery of our web pages to you and to measure traffic on the Site.
Yes, like most websites, OCL rely on cookies to understand and save your preferences for future visits, keep track of advertisements and compile aggregate data about site traffic and site interaction so we can offer better site experiences and tools in the future. Cookies enable the Site or service providers to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information.
We may contract with third-party service providers to assist us in better understanding our Site visitors. These service providers are permitted to use the information collected on our behalf only to help us conduct and improve our business.
Session Cookies- These type of cookies exist only for as long as your browser remains open. Once you exit your browser, they go away. We use session cookies to maintain information we need to have in order for you to shop on OCL. For example, the session ID cookie that we ask your browser to hold retains the ID for your shopping cart. Without the session ID cookie, you can't add courses or merchandise to your bag and carry it to checkout.
Persistent Cookies- In contrast to session cookies, persistent cookies last from visit to visit; they do not go away when you exit your browser. We use persistent cookies to give you a more personalized shopping experience and to help you navigate our store more efficiently. We will use your information to enhance your site experience. However, you can use our site without accepting a persistent cookie.
If you prefer, you can choose to have your computer warn you each time a cookie is being sent, or you can choose to turn off all cookies via your browser settings. Like most websites, if you turn your cookies off, some of our services may not function properly.
